We are thrilled to welcome Colin Watson to the Character Council!

Bio

Chief Constable Colin Watson has been serving as a police officer for over 26 years. He proudly became the Chief Constable for the Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) in November 2023. Colin came to Abbotsford after a long career as a police officer with the Victoria Police Department, serving the latter eight years as Deputy Chief.  Colin is former president of the BC Association of Chiefs of Police and is involved in a number of local, provincial and national committees.  Colin is a life-long learner having completed a master’s degree in public administration and a master’s degree in administrative law.
